To review concepts learned in Elementary Spanish; to apply more complex rules of the language to unfamiliar material; to understand and use more complex spoken communications; to read longer and more difficult written material, including short stories and newspaper and magazine articles; and to become more fully aware of most, if not all Spanish-speaking cultures. This is a first semester course, intended to be followed by 2202 second semester.
