Analyzing Voting Returns Using Counts and Crosstabs

Note: To pull a list of ONLY people who have voted so far, the search criteria is like a double negative. You have to Exclude people who have already voted from being Removed from the list. Here's how:

  1. Go to Create a List

  2. Select your district from the Home Districts

  3. Then click Add Step > Remove People

4. In your Remove People step, go to the Early Voting tab

5. Check the Exclude People Who Have Early Voted

6. Click Run Search

6. Click on the “Counts” button and “Run Quick Counts and Crosstabs”

6. On the Counts and Crosstabs page, Select a Data Field for Column 1 (Example: Age) and/or Crosstab 1 (Example: Party)

7. Click on “Refresh Results”

This is an invaluable tool to be able to analyze how your district is shaping up and what the electorate looks like.
