Lightspeed Classroom Mangement (1 hour)
In this professional development, you will be given an overview of all the features of Lightspeed Classroom Management. You will then be shown how to configure your classes if you haven't already. Finally, you will be given classroom management strategies using the software to help retain better focus for your students.

This course is designed for educators in the English Language Arts content area to support a deeper understanding of how best to move your students beyond general reading comprehension to inferential strategic thinking. The course will assist you in understanding close reading and text-dependent analysis, measuring text complexity, designing text-dependent questions and TDA prompts, and analyzing student work.

Each episode prompts pre-listening and in-listening questions, along with supplementary readings and activities for extended engagement. Accompanying discussion threads invite perspectives from teachers, parents, community members, or students, totaling 6.5 hours.
