Description:
Aspiring information security professionals have the opportunity to ease some of their educational financial burden with the (ISC)² Information Security Undergraduate Scholarship, offering undergraduate students studying information security up to US$5,000 per recipient.
Criteria:
Must be pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity or information assurance.
You may be a senior in high school, or an undergraduate student who is currently a junior, freshman, sophomore or senior who will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in the fall. If you will have graduated with your undergraduate degree by the fall then please apply for the (ISC)² Graduate Scholarship if appropriate.
GPA must be at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or an analogous rank based on a comparable scale).
You may be a citizen of any country (US citizenship not required)
May be attending on campus or online.
May be attending full time or part time
May be attending in the US or Internationally
You do not currently need to be enrolled, however no awards will be disbursed until the recipient is enrolled in a college or university.
If awarded: the award will be sent to the school with instructions that it be applied to tuition, fees and books.

The Quest for Excellence program is a bursary program for grade 12 students in Western Canada. It was established by RE/MAX of Western Canada to recognize the success and ongoing pursuits of Western Canadian students in regard to leadership and community contribution initiatives.

Students are to convey the contributions they have made to their communities in a short online essay, maximum 1,250 words. Key qualities students should demonstrate are leadership, motivation and communication skills. Other attributes may include volunteering, participation in charitable events or fundraising, and contributions that enrich the lives of others and their communities.

Description:
Diabetes Hope Scholarship Program is available to young adults living in the Province of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland, Canada who are successfully managing the challenges of living with diabetes. This program supports post-secondary academic endeavors and recognizes the personal triumphs of exemplary young adults who demonstrate active involvement in community and/or sports activities while engaging in healthy self-management of their diabetes.
Criteria:
Open to young adults
Who are residents of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.
Who are in their final year of high school and entering an accredited post-secondary institution in the fall
Who are registered with a pediatric diabetes program/healthcare provider and is in their transition year to adult diabetes care.
Who have received care for Type 1 Diabetes or Insulin Dependent Type 2 Diabetes by a Pediatric Health Care team for a minimum of 1 year preceding this application
Who have demonstrated competence in self-management by: a) Regular diabetic health care follow-ups (a minimum of three visits in the past 12 months if newly diagnosed; minimum of 6 visits in the past 24 months for all others); and b) Obtaining an endorsement letter from a member of their Pediatric Health Care team confirming their attendance and successful self-management.

THE BBMAS WERE ESTABLISHED IN 2001 by the directors of the Canative Housing Corporation, Orval Belcourt, Dr. Herb Belcourt, and Georges Brosseau QC. Their vision was to help Métis Albertans realize self-sufficiency through post-secondary education and skills development.
Since 2001, the Belcourt Brosseau Métis Awards have provided more than $7.9 million in over 2,000 awards to more than 1,300 Métis Albertans studying at institutions across Alberta. These awards are the largest non-governmental source of student funding for Métis students in Canada.
