Cross-platform Social Media Campaigns: Copy and Graphics
As part of the communication plan for NISD's Expo event each year, we develop a communication plan using #NISDExpo. In 2021, this plan included email, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with the goal of driving traffic back to our website, expo.nisdtx.org. The supporting graphics were created by me unless otherwise indicated. For 2021, the Annual Expo was held virtually, therefore our communication plan was critical to both the success of the event and maintaining momentum for participation in future events.
2021 was also the first year we were able to collaborate with the communications team for the event, which relies on internal teacher participation and external community attendance. I was able to serve as a thought partner for the email newsletter, promo video, and photoshoot, while still owning the creation and publication of campaign and social media marketing graphics and copy.
This blog was a freelance assignment for a boutique marketing firm intended to increase SEO traffic at the start of the year.
