Luminex FLEXMAP3D
The Advanced Flow Cytometry Platform offers users the Luminex FLEXMAP3D which allows protein and genomic multiplex bead array assays of up to 500 analytes per well.
It is compatible with 96 and 384 well plate formats and offers faster turnaround time and easier maintenance than the previous Luminex 100/200 instruments, but is compatible with the kits and reagents for these systems. The FlexMap3D operates on Xponent 4.0 software.
Luminex is run SELF-SERVICE only (following training)
Options
We highly recommend you only book training once your kit has arrived, but contact us beforehand to discuss your needs and reserve a place.
Booking
The analysers are available self-service only, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for use by investigators except during weekly maintenance and repair periods.

Before an investigator can book and use the equipment, they must register with the Flow Core sign up on our iLab calendar. Basic Training is not mandatory for Luminex usage, and a separate facility induction can be included in the training, which is offered throughout the year, see our training dates.
