We are sharing access to some training videos and documents to familiarise yourself with the equipment, software and procedures, especially if you only had online training or are an infrequent user. Instructions for the Fortessa and CytoFLEX are in the Basic Training channel. More will follow but we want to give you what we already created! If you have suggestions let us know.
The Microsoft Team name is MT-BRC-FlowUsers. All new users will be given access at training. To start, in Teams select your Teams list (in the sidebar if not shown by default), you should now see the team called MT-BRC-FlowUsers.
Please activate notifications so that you know when other people might need help or you receive answers and so that you get announcements from us.
At this time access is only for users with KCL staff/ student accounts.
You must still complete the required training for access to any instrument.
You can create posts in the Wanted Reagents channel. We encourage you to do this, e.g. if you are waiting for a delivery, you can ask if anyone can help you out.
Please type @ then start typing the team name (as you type it will autocomplete the correct entry), i.e. @MT-BRC-Flowusers so all members get notified.
Check: are you logged in with the correct outlook account (KCL, not personal, GSTT etc) on that browser/ Teams app?
If still having problems you may need to (1) refresh the page, (2) close and reopen the browser, or (3) use a different browser.
If you still cannot join, contact your IT support.
If you were given access via code, click Join or create a team and look for the Join a team with a code button. Enter the code you have been given. THIS CODE WILL EXPIRE, sign up before the date given. Your access will continue after that date. Don't share the code with anyone else.
