myNHA is an easy to navigate dashboard that includes all the links and applications you will need as a substitute teacher with NHA.
Click the circle on the left to access myNHA and select the "NHA Email" tile. Please sign-in to your NHA email as soon as possible to ensure there are no issues and so you can continue on your onboarding journey. If you have any trouble or questions, please contact techsupport@nhaschools.com
Complete within 3 days of hire
After you have accessed myNHA, you can select the "Oracle" tile and login using the same username and password used for your email. Once you are logged in, you can then complete your onboarding "Journey" which will include filling out a background check and I9 form. This step is required only for substitutes who will be working in the states of Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Wisconsin. You will receive instructions in your NHA email that walk you through this process and provide you with further instruction.
**Important: please do not schedule an appointment to be fingerprinted prior to receiving this email. NHA covers the cost of fingerprinting for substitute teachers, but can only do so if you use the code provided in your email.
Complete within 4 days of hire
Each state has their own requirements regarding Substitute Permits. You will not be able to pick up and work jobs before you have applied for a substitute permit, so please be sure to do that within your first few days of being hired. More information regarding requirements and next steps can be found on our substitute permit page.
Not applicable for substitutes in Georgia, New York, and North Carolina.
Complete within 4 days of hire
All substitute teachers are required by state and/or federal law to complete training on child abuse and local mandatory reporter laws. You will receive an email from the NHA safety team with instructions on how to complete these trainings and which ones you are required to take. You can find these trainings on the "Vector K-12 Courses" tile on myNHA.
Complete within 5 days of hire
Once you have completed the previous steps, please take some time to read over the expectations of the role and the policies and procedures you will need to know before you begin teaching. If you have any questions regarding any of these expectations or policies, please reach out to substitutes@nhaschools.com or your school's registrar if you would like more in-depth information on anything.
Complete within 5 days of hire
Please click on the circle to the left to send your school's registrar a copy of your contact information, what days you are available to work, and if you have a grade level you would prefer to work with. This will be very beneficial for schools as they seek to schedule you where and when you prefer.
Complete within 1 week after start date
Once you have completed all previous steps, you will need to learn how to navigate Frontline and how to pick up and drop available jobs. NHA will automatically set up a Frontline account for you on your assigned start date following the receipt of all legal documents such as I9 forms and background checks. You will receive an email to your NHA account that provides you with your login information. Once you have signed in, please take some time to look over our training materials for all the information you will need to get the full benefits from Frontline. If you do not receive an email to set up your account by your start date, please contact frontline@nhaschools.com.
Complete within 1 week after start date
The final required step is for you to complete your final Journey in Oracle which will walk you through information regarding direct deposit as well as filling out tax and withholding paperwork. To access this, log into your Oracle account, click on the "Journeys" application and find the new Journey that will be assigned to you after your start date.
