Oracle is the application where you will enter the days you have subbed in order to receive your paycheck every two weeks. You will also use it at the beginning of your employment to fill out tax forms and background check documents. It is important that you know how to log your time accurately and can navigate the different apps that Oracle has to offer. If you ever have any questions or problems with your Oracle account, you may refer back to this page or submit a ticket on the Oracle Support Portal tile on myNHA.
After you accept your offer, you will receive an email from Shared Services that provides you with your unique username and password for your NHA and Oracle accounts. Please follow this link and use the credentials provided to you to login to Oracle for the first time. You will then be prompted to change your password. Once you have done this, you are all set and ready to begin working through your assigned Journeys.
If you are having any trouble logging in to your Oracle account, please contact techsupport@nhaschools.com.
A Journey in Oracle contains all of the necessary steps you need to take before you are able to begin working at NHA. Your onboarding Journey will include background check paperwork as well as require you to fill out I9 tax forms.
To access this Journey once you are logged in, click on the "Me" tab and then select the "Journeys" app (icon shown above). Oracle will then direct you through the steps you need to take.
If you have any questions on Journeys, please contact sharedservices@nhaschools.com
Substitute teachers are paid on a daily rate or half daily rate. To make sure you are receiving the rate you were offered upon hire, it is essential that you follow these steps closely.
For every day you worked 4 hours or less (or a "half day") you will enter "4" hours into Oracle to receive the half day rate. For every day you work more than 4 hours, you will enter "8" hours into Oracle to receive your full daily rate. This means that any time you work more than 4 hours hours, you are considered to have worked a full day and thus are eligible to receive the full daily rate. If, however, you were to input 5 hours into Oracle, you would only receive a partial amount of your promised daily rate. If you have any questions on this process, please email payrollsupport@nhaschools.com.
You will need to enter & submit your time every two weeks to be ensured that you are paid on time. You are welcome to input your time each day you work, however, if it is not the end of the pay period yet, click "save and close" instead of "submit." The payroll schedule is included to the right for your convenience.

More than 4 hours it is considered a full day (enter 8).
