Are you having a hard time with what we are doing in class? Don't worry, I've got you covered! This website is specifically designed to help you review and reinforce the key concepts you learned in Algebra 1.
This website has a page for each unit we cover, and each of those is broken down into lessons. Struggling with lesson 4 in Unit 5? There are videos specifically for what we talked about that day.
Class overview
In Algebra 1, we will be focusing on various mathematical concepts, and one of the key areas we will explore is functions. Functions are an essential building block of algebra and provide a solid foundation for higher-level mathematics. They are not just theoretical concepts; rather, they have practical applications in real-world situations.
Throughout this course you will use critical math skills as you learn to solve equations, work with variables, simplify expressions, and apply algebraic methods to solve real-world problems. The course will provide a solid foundation for further studies in mathematics.

This is my 4th year teaching at Taylor Prep, I'm originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and I am a huge math nerd.
My family consists of my wife, Mrs. V, my two cats Aylah (light gray) and Prim (dark gray), and our dog Samson (Sammy).
When I'm not at school, you can often find me fishing, hiking, golfing,or playing video games.
