Important Notices

Please note that the IGCSE examination boards do not confirm the timetable until Term 3. It is worth noting these have run from April to the end of June and you may want to delay booking any flights until the schedule is confirmed. Nexus has no control over these dates and they can run on public holidays and into the summer holidays. We will share the schedule as soon as it is available. 

Nexus holds trial examinations for Year 11 learners from 9th January to 20th January and for Year 10 learners from 10th April to 20th April. These are deliberately placed to allow maximum teaching to have occurred before the assessments to ensure realistic experiences for learners and authentic feedback on their performance. These dates also ensure that there is sufficient time for learners to work with their teachers to maximise their chances of success.

The IB have published a provisional schedule for the May 2023 examinations which run between April 27th and May 19th. Please note Nexus has no control over these dates and they can run on public holidays. 

• Primary Parent-Teacher Conferences and Secondary Learning Conferences - Thursday, 9 & Friday, 10 March 2023

School is closed to learners on Friday, 10 March so that teachers and families can meet 

• Chinese New Year - school closed for public holidays on  Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th January

• Wellbeing Week -Monday, 6 - Friday, 10 February 2023

• Year 12 Trial Exams March 13th - 17th

• Book Week March 13th - 17th

• Year 7-9 Sports Day 20th March

• Secondary School Production - 21st-23rd March
