Pene Rākau

Pene Rākau (pencil) offers you the opportunity to tackle the following external:

Assessment Standard 91063: Produce freehand sketches that communicate design ideas.

This standard is worth 3 credits at Level 1, assessed Externally.

To gain these credits you will submit a portfolio of your best work at the end of the year. This work will come from either the Product or Spatial assignment which we will complete throughout the year. These assignments will be reviewed by your teacher and you will be given feedback to help you improve your sketching techniques.

As you progress throughout the year your skills will improve but you are encouraged to practice as often as you can to ensure you achieve to the best of your ability.
