First you must enable keyboard shortcuts for Calendar
Go to calendar.google.com
Click settings wheel
General: Keyboard Shortcuts
Check "Enable Keyboard Shortcuts"
Move to-
Today: t
A specific date: g
Search: /
Change your view to-
Day: 1 or d
Week: 2 or w
Month: 3 or m
Agenda: 5 or a
Events-
Create: c
Details: e
Return from details to calendar: esc
Create Shared Calendars
Find the calendar, click the three snowman button, settings & sharing, share with specific people - choose permissions (can be adjusted later)
Make a public calendar - follow the above - make public and get a "shareable link"
Every Google Classroom creates it's own calendar - anytime you place a due date to an assignment, it appears on the Classroom Calendar - you can add to this calendar
Add attachment to an event
Create meeting notes when creating an event
Color Code your Calendars: Snowman button - choose a color
You can change the color for a specific event - right click on event and choose a color
For recurring events you can choose which one (or all) for which to change color
You can use this for status of events if you want or to keep different aspects of your life delineated
Create recurring events - when creating events, click on "does not repeat" and choose a recurring schedule or create a custom repeat schedule - including an end date
Set your notifications! Snowman next to the calendar: Calendar settings: Event Notification - default for all events on this calendar. You can adjust each event individually if needed
Under notifications, you can elect to receive a daily agenda
Use search! Find that event for which you have forgotten the date!
Click on Event and use snowman at the top to print/duplicate/copy event to another calendar/ change owner
Whoops! I accidentally deleted something...Settings Wheel: Trash (you have 30 days to restore)
