Worker Onboarding 

Before your worker's first day, the CT team will send a First Day email to the worker regarding their assignment, orientation, office information  (if applicable), timecards, and more! First Day emails are sent 1-2 days prior to start dates. Please check in with your worker to ensure they have the information they need prior to their start.

Please review the Timecard Guide with your worker to ensure they are entering their time correctly and on time.  

If your worker did not receive the First Day email, feel free to out to contingenttalent@netflix.com. 

If equipment is requested for your worker it will be shipped to their personal address.  N-Tech (Netflix Technology Team) will send instructions on how to log in to their Netflix email/tools to the worker's Netflix contractor's email domain. 

On your worker's first day, they will receive an email to their personal email addresses to review our Insider Trading, Respect@Netflix, and Contingent Worker Privacy Notice Policies. 

• Your worker's hours will need to be logged in Beeline. Please review the Timecard Guide with your worker to ensure they are entering their time correctly and on time.  

• Suppliers are responsible for providing Beeline login information to their workers

On the morning of their first day, your worker will receive login information to access their Netflix Contractor email and our Tools & Systems from the N-Tech team.

Your worker's access is determined by what tools and systems their Manager determines they need access to.   The @netflixcontractors.com email domain was created for non-employees. By design, contingent workers on the @netflixcontractors.com email domain will not have the same abilities as employees on the @netflix.com email domain; this includes broad access to our company information, systems & applications.

If your worker needs additional access that was not initially provided to them, they should reach out to N-Tech with manager approval.  N-Tech will provision as needed.

Your worker won't be heading into their assignment blind! They will automatically be enrolled in the below online self-paced courses via Discover (an internal Netflix educational tool). They will receive an email to their Netflix Contractor email on their first day with login credentials.

If your worker is office-based, they will receive a calendar invite to attend an in-person Workplace session.

  • • In this course, your worker will learn how to navigate Netflix as a contingent worker, the basics about their access, who the best points of contact are depending on their questions, and other FAQs.

• Contingent 101: Culture

  • • In this course, your worker will learn how the more aligned to our values they are as a contingent worker, the more successful they will be during their assignment.  We give examples of how they will see our values show up during their time spent with us.

• Contingent 101: Beeline VMS

  • • In this course, your worker will learn what Magnit is and be provided with resources on how to log their time and expenses.  Suppliers should still educate their workers themselves on the specifics. 

• NTech - Global Onboarding

  • • In this course, your worker will learn how to get access set up on their Netflix issued device, how to reach out to NTech, and more!
