SUBMITTAL FAQs
When should I ask for more candidate submittal slots?
Each agency is given 3 slots per position. If it’s a newly released req, please submit only 3 of your top candidates. The Partner will send the first batch of resumes to the manager for review. If there are not enough candidates in the pipeline or the quality of candidates submitted in the first batch is lacking, Partners will notify agencies to request more.
If you contact us to request additional slots, Partners will review each case to see if it makes sense to open more slots.
What should be included on the resume/CV?
In UCAN, standard resume/CV information should be included such as Name, Contact Info (email), Work History, Skills, Education or Certificates, etc. Please do not include your company's logo.
How quickly should I submit the first resume/CV?
Our guidelines of submitting the first candidate is within 48 hours. (Suppliers should opt-out within 48 hours when they cannot support)
What happens if I submit a candidate that has already been submitted by another agency?
The Partners will check first to see if your candidate has already been submitted by another agency. We will look at the timestamp of the first submission. We will also check to see if you are following the candidate submittal guidelines and how well summaries are written. Although we do not request a Right to Represent (RTR) agreement for each candidate submitted, we believe that having your candidates sign an RTR will lower the chances of duplicate candidate submissions.
What if I have already submitted a candidate, but another agency with a higher pay rate submits them instead?
Each agency should qualify its candidates based on their level of experience, skillset, and individual market rate. You should not automatically offer the max rate. As per the guidance above, we will look at the timestamp to see who submitted the candidate first. We will reject the candidate who was submitted last and inform you of the reason for the decline.
Can I submit one candidate to multiple requisitions?
It is okay to submit a candidate to multiple reqs, but not if they are currently in the process or interviewing for another position.
What happens if I withdraw a candidate, will I lose that slot?
Yes, even if you withdraw a candidate from consideration, you will lose that slot.
What happens if my remote worker now needs a key fob because they are working on-site a few days out of the week?
Please reach out to the CT Partner to inform us so that we can update the worker’s status in WorkDay. After we update their status from “Remote” to “Onsite”, your contractor can request for a keyfob from the Receptionist desk.
What should I do when my contractor is requesting a pay increase?
Reach out to CT Partner to provide justification/context for the worker’s desired pay increase and their requested pay. Did they take on additional duties outside of their scope? Has the volume of work increased or did their responsibilities change? We cannot guarantee a raise will be granted, but we will work with the manager to provide context for the request.
Things to consider prior to submitting your candidates:
Before submitting candidates to an open req, please ensure you have covered the following questions:
Will they need to provide notice? If so, please provide the notice period.
Will they be going on vacation or need to be away for an extended period of time prior to or while on assignment? If so, please provide dates and context.
Will they ever need to leave the country while on assignment? If yes, please provide context.
Please note that if we engage the candidate, Netflix laptops are shipped out the week prior. If your candidate is not available to receive the laptop, let us know so that we can plan accordingly.
Can I submit a sub-contracted candidate?
All candidates should be directly employed by your firm; subcontracted candidates are not allowed. Subcontracted candidates are allowed only in special circumstances, such as when the candidate pool is extremely slim. The CT Partner must run the subcontracted Candidate before submitting it.
My worker is going to be remote, can I provide the location on submittal?
Yes! Effective Sept 23, 2024, when submitting candidates to a req, suppliers can update the location of their candidates as shown in the image below. If your worker will be remote, please populate the State/Province - Remote location. Before submitting the offer, the Partner will review the candidate's location to ensure it is correct.
What is the difference between the Name Fields?
Under Candidate Information, the worker's Legal First Name and Legal Last Name should be entered here. If the worker has a preferred first and last name they would like to go by instead, please enter in the section called, Localized Name in the fields Preferred First Name and Preferred Last Name. If there are fields entered in the Preferred First and Last Name, this will display in Workday and Google Suite for your worker. Please note, all name and email changes should always happen in Beeline. If the first and last names are entered incorrectly, please reach out to contingenttalent@netflix.com and we can help to correct this.
I got an email for correction or additional information on my submitted candidate. What should I do?
If the Netflix CT team has requested correction or additional information for your candidate, you can withdraw and resubmit the same candidate. Note, candidate's personal information and identifying details cannot be changed during resubmit.
To Withdraw, go to the Request > Candidates, select the candidate for correction, click Withdraw, select 'Submission error - Correction needed' as the Reason, enter relevant Comments, and click OK.
On the Request Candidate list, select the same candidate again, click Resubmit Candidate, enter all the relevant information, including any additional information or correction requested by the CT team, re-enter the rates, and click Submit.
