Paying tribute to our accomplished alumni

Tisdale students have achieved many things in past years. Tisdale Middle & Secondary School has a location inside its main doors which pay tribute to our accomplished alumni.
The purpose of the Wall of Fame is twofold: It recognizes former students of TUCS and TMSS who have shown extraordinary achievement in athletics, academics, the arts, leadership, citizenship, volunteerism or community service, and also serves as an inspiration to current students.
In order to be considered for such an award one must:
→ Have been an alumni of TUCS or TMSS (Any time from 1955-Present)
→ Have achieved a readily recognizable and outstanding level of excellence
→ Be nominated by family, friends, colleagues, or anyone who is willing to put together a nomination.
The Wall of Fame Committee inducted five initial members in 2006-2007. The Committee intends to induct one or two new members every two years. However, any year may go by without an induction if candidates have not attained a suitable standard of excellence. Since no one will be considered for this award unless they have been nominated, submissions are strongly encouraged so that the most deserving candidates will be identified.
Those who are interested in submitting nominations are asked to include all information regarding awards and accomplishments, as selection will be determined by this alone. This is not a time for modesty!
Completed nomination forms may be returned through the TMSS email at tmss@nesd.ca or to the TMSS Office at 306-873-2352. The school will notify inductees near the end of June of an induction year. The ceremony will take place in the fall of that year. A genuine effort will be made to accommodate the schedules of inductees.
The Wall of Fame will pay tribute to our long history of excellence and achievement. It is intended to do justice to the breadth and scope of our students’ accomplishments. Your nominations will ensure that the Wall of Fame fulfills its’ purpose.
