Inducted 2007 - Athletics

  • ​Kalim joined Special Olympics at fifteen years of age.

  • He has become a role model for other young people, particularly those with challenges who have big dreams.

  • Kalim's many impressive achievements include:

    • National Games in Prince Albert, 2002 where he won:

      • Six medals, qualifying him for the World Games

    • ​World Special Olympics Summer Games in Dublin, Ireland in 2003 where he won:

      • Gold in high jump

      • Silver in shot put

    • Sask Sport – Athlete of the Month – June 2003​​

  • ​​​​​Kalim is employed in Tisdale, where he also resides.
