All middle school students at Rockland Central School are asked to use a separate folder for each class, rather than one large binder. We find that plastic folders last for the entire year, unlike cardboard folders. For consistency and organization each subject is assigned a different color:

English—Blue
Home & Career Skills—White
Math—Green
Technology—Black
Science—Yellow
Spanish—Purple
Social Studies—Red

Students need to have:

A Homework/Important Papers Folder
Pen/Pencil Case
4 Dozen Pens (blue or black ink only)
4 Dozen Pencils
Pencil Erasers
2 Packages Loose Leaf Paper
Tissues
2 Dozen Highlighters

PLEASE NOTE: Book bags are NOT allowed in the classrooms in the Middle and High School. Please leave them in your locker.
