Student Registration

To register students for the Rockland Central School District, please contact Registrar Patti Lambrigger at 607-498-4126, ext. 6105, for a registration packet and instructions. 

The registration packet includes: 

• Records Request Form

• Residency Form

• Student Registration Form

• Transportation Form

• Medical History Form

• Pre-K/Kindergarten Registration Form

• Home Language Questionnaire

• Contact Information Form

• Custody Affidavit (fill out if applicable) 

Registration requirements

• Proof of child's age: birth certificate; passport; adoption certificate.

• Immunizations records: must be current

• Proof of residency: 

  • Copy of ownership of a house, e.g., deed or mortgage statement; 

  • Copy of lease with landlord's information and the parent or guardian’s name with the physical address; 

  • A written statement of a third party with whom the parent or guardian is residing; or documents that have the physical address on it (e.g. utility or other bills; driver's license, and/or income tax forms). 

Pre-kindergarten/kindergarten registration

Prekindergarten is offered for children who will be 4 years old on or before Dec. 1. 

Kindergarten registration is available for students who will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1. 

Registration for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten are held in the spring. Call the registrar to be added to the mailing list for this event. 

Transfer students

To ensure quicker enrollment and proper placement, the following items should be provided at registration:

• Transcript 

• Report Card (current)

• IEP (Individualized Education Plan) and/or 504 Plan

• Immunizations

• Current Schedule
