For January 2026, enter the "Common Core" exam as Stand-Alone/unlinked assessment scores in the Grades Tab.

Visit the FAQs Page for more information on Regents Testing for the 2025-26 school year.

Clear out any error jobs by selecting the refresh button.

Scroll down to "NYS Digital Access Survey" for directions on ending last year's records and creating new records for 2025-2026.

Adding Course Selections: 3 Ways

List View

Use list view to see all the courses available in that course catalog.
Checkmark the desired courses,
SAVE!

Department

Select the desired courses by going into each department individually.
Save your selections.

Course ID Number

If you know the course IDs, enter them in one line and add them to the student's selection screen.

***Reminder, leave one space in between course IDs in the list and there must be no spaces in the course ID for the save operation to function correctly.

Forgot Password Updates: The Forgot Password experience has been updated to provide local account users with increased security and efficiency by introducing authentication codes and removing the need for temporary passwords.
NYS Data Warehouse Student Infraction Response Extract: The NYS Data Warehouse Student Infraction Response Extract is now available in SchoolTool.
Hybrid Report Card - Additional Grading Information Section: A general grading information section has been added to the Hybrid Report Card.
Submit Descriptor/Standard Marking Period Grades - Copy Previous Grades For All Students: The copy previous grades functionality is now available in the student flyout list. When configured, this update allows teachers using the 'View by Student' Grid Option to copy previous marking period grades for all students in one action.

⚒️ Fixes 🛠️

Census: CEP/P2 Household income Eligibility Form will now accurately export to Level 0 at "CEP/P2 Form".

Counseling: Transcript003 now accurately displays student activities in order by name and school year.

Counseling: Transript003 now accurately wraps text displayed in the Activity section.

Counseling: Resolved issue that caused Transcript003 to only display Activities on printed reports when Show Testing Information was also configured.

Counseling: Resolved issue that caused standard comments to not appear on the Hybrid Report Card when a room number was missing from the course in the Master Schedule.

Counseling: Resolved issue that caused date required errors when running Transcript004.

Discipline: Resolved an issue that caused an error when accessing Discipline > Unassigned Referrals due to null values for referral details and dispositions.

Maintenance: Resolved issue that caused the Forgot Password authentication email to not send. For more information, review the associated feature document.

Teacher: Student alternate enrollment report cards will accurately print when accessed from My Home > Grades.

Teacher: Resolved issue that caused assignment scores manually entered in the Grade Book Editor to be overwritten when transferring assignment scores from one grade book to another.

Teacher: Resolved issue that caused assignment score errors in the Grade Book Editor.

Teacher: When mass applying comments on the Submit Descriptor/Standard Marking Period Grades screen the comment indicator will update appropriately after comments are entered.

Teacher: After assignment scores are entered in the Grade Book Editor, the assignment Scoring Type cannot be edited from an alpha scale to a numeric scale. If the change is necessary, all standard and overall assignment scores must be removed first.

Teacher: Resolved issue that caused the Mass Clear scoring action within the Score Assignment & Standards drawer to not function. Standard scores added within the drawer can now be cleared in batch as intended.

Teacher: Resolved issue that may have caused errors accessing the site and/or Report Cards to not display the teacher name for submitted comments.
