Course Content: This course introduces students to a variety of manufacturing technologies and career pathways. Students will gain hands-on experience using industry tools, processes, and methods while developing essential STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills. Portions of the class will take place in the middle school manufacturing shop, where students will construct a range of take-home projects. Instructional units may include measurement, safe tool use, STEM career exploration, and wood technologies, giving students a solid foundation in manufacturing practices and problem-solving.
