Course Content: In this course, students will explore the design process as they create innovative solutions to real-world problems and challenges. They will develop skills in sketching, engineering drawing, precise measurement, and 3D/CAD modeling tools. Throughout the course, students will brainstorm, research, generate ideas, construct models, and test and evaluate their designs. Activities may include 3D printing and other advanced technologies, providing students with engaging opportunities to bring their concepts to life.
*Student Cost: $10 for lab activities
Open to: Grades 7 & 8
Length: 1 semester/every other day
