Length: 1 semester/every other day
This course teaches 7th and 8th graders how to plan and build simple, attractive websites. Students use tools and templates to create content including text, images, and videos and learn basic HTML and CSS to create and customize their web pages. They also explore AI tools to help generate ideas, draft content, and speed up design and creation tasks. Lessons focus on making sites easy to use on different devices and designing with clear navigation. The class covers safe, respectful online behavior and how to use and share others’ media responsibly.
