The ABC's of BIP

The  ABC's of BIP is designed to assist teachers, counselors and other participants in understanding the when and why of conducting a Functional Behavioral Assessment(FBA).   Participants will also learn to use the data gathered to create an effective Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP).   Active case studies will be used during this course. The course  is divided into four modules that include informative readings, discussion thread, and videos. At the end of the course  there is a short quiz that encompasses all of the information learned in each section. You will also earn a digital badge at the completion of the course. In addition, you will earn 0.2 CEU credits. The course is self-paced and will be available in Canvas through June 30, 2020.

SLD 2020

This course is designed for EC teachers to help understand the new SLD eligibility criteria that goes into effect across NC on July 1, 2020. This course will explain each of the 5 Criteria for SLD eligibility, how to use data to document the inclusionary and exclusionary factors, and will conclude with a case study for extra practice. This course is required for all NRMPS EC teachers.
