Nihon Chukinto Africa Fujinkai “NCAF”  

(The Japan Ladies' Friendship Association for Africa and the Middle East)    

Founded in 1981, this is a group of about 100 Japanese women who share a  love of the Middle East and of Africa. Some have lived in these regions while  others have simply been drawn to our group by intellectual curiosity.    

Our programs engage women from the African and Middle Eastern resident  diplomatic community. We aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of  Japan and to foster friendships with our members, hoping to make their stay  both memorable and fun.  

The stories and experiences of their home countries motivate NCAF members  to act in solidarity, thus inspiring our fundraising. Our charitable endeavors  have been propelled by the empathy and generous support of many parties  over the years.  

It is our ardent hope that, together with our sisters in and from the Middle  East and Africa, we can encourage a brighter and more peaceful future for us  all.
