Community Service at NRHS
NRHS Encourages all Students to Give Back to their Communities At the End of the Year Award Ceremonies, NRHS recognizes those students in grades 9-12 for their documented participation in community service activities. There are two ways to earn recognition at NRHS:
A student must complete a minimum of 40 hours of documented volunteerism each year for 4 years to earn a silver cord to be worn at graduation.
A student must complete 100 hours of documented volunteerism in one school year to earn a silver cord and a brick in the NRHS Wall of Honor.
An additional 100 hours in any other school year earns a Gold Nauset 'N' on your brick! Click here for more information
