Mrs. Thomma

Welcome! My name is Denise Thomma -- I love to read and to write and to teach! This term -- for Middle School -- I teach 6th Grade Religion, Middle School Media Classes, and 7th & 8th Grade Study Skills.

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I earned a B.A. in English/Journalism, and an M.A. in Communication at Bloomsburg State University. I also have 18 additional graduate credits in Reading/Education from the University of Virginia -- once my kids ever get out of college, I'll finish the degree ;). I have contributed to and edited publications on terrorism, Religion, marketing, the Foreign Service, environmental issues, and more.

I am just delighted to be here with your kids!
