Students will learn and practice spelling, vocabulary, grammar and writing. Students will learn to work through the writing process including drafting, editing, revising, and publishing for several different types of writing projects including personal narratives, opinion essays, and persuasive essays.
English 7
Students will learn and practice spelling, vocabulary, grammar and writing. Students will continue to work through the writing process including drafting, editing, revising, and publishing. Writing projects will expand to include original research, paraphrasing, and citing sources.
English 8
Students will learn and practice spelling, vocabulary, grammar and writing.

If a student is absent for a test or quiz he or she may make-up the test or quiz after school on Thursdays.
