Welcome to Middle School Literature

Mrs. Burneo teaches Literature to 6th and Mrs. Slifko teaches Literature to 7th, and 8th grade.

All homework and class announcements are posted to Google Classroom.

In Literature classes students will read a variety of works including classic and modern short stories and novels, articles from encyclopedias, journals and news publications, plays, and poetry. Mrs. Slifko is dedicated to nurturing the book worm in everyone, and using literary works to examine and analyze the word around us.

6th Literature

Sixth grade will continue to read with a purpose using a variety of reading material.

7th Literature

Seventh grade students will be reading a mixture of non-fiction and fiction this quarter.

8th Literature

Eighth grade students will be asked to purchase two books over the course of the school year. Students should check Google Classroom for books needed.
