Prealgebra

We use the McDougal Littell MATH series Prealgebra textbook. The series offers an on-line capability that our students will be using with their Chromebooks.

The online textbook is available on classzone.com. Students will access this site regularly for homework, extra explanation of concepts, reinforcement work, and studying.

Math Star Time

Math enrichment will be provided as part of the Star Time program and will be available to all students in grades K-3. Students will work in small groups during scheduled Math times.

Math Club

Nativity's Math club will meet weekly on Mondays from 3:00-4:00 in the Math room. The first meeting will be the last Monday in September. Mrs. Sinclair will be the math coach.

Math Olympiads are math problem solving contests for students in grades 4 through 8. The students will be prepared for these contests in a series of meetings offering math strategies, problem solving challenges and other activities to get kids more comfortable and capable in math.
