Classroom Expectations

In Middle School classes are conduced with four expectations:

• Respect
• Honesty
• Responsibility
• Effort

Quizzes and Tests

Check with each teacher regarding specific quizzes and test instructions. Most classes will have several quizzes throughout a chapter and one chapter test at the end of a chapter.

Projects

There will be several mini projects (in class and at home). Students will be required to work independently and collaboratively depending on the project instructions.

Technology

Technology is a large component of middle school. Students are allowed to use the internet for reference but my not copy directly from it, as it is dishonest. It does not reflect the students work or learning. Any student guilty of an act of dishonesty will receive a zero on the assignment and a parent/guardian will be notified.

Students should bring:

• Charged Chromebook
• Textbook
• Notebook
• Homework
• Pens, pencils, grading pen
