Performance Calendar for 2025-26

Please use the dates listed below as your primary resource. 

Thursday, October 30, 2025 – MJHS Fall Band Concert – 7:00 p.m. (student arrival 6:30 p.m.)

            All MJHS Bands Perform

Wednesday, November 12, 2025 – Southside Band Festival at NCHS – 7:00 p.m. (student arrival 6:30 p.m.)

            8th Grade Band performs at NCHS.  Daytime field trip & rehearsal at NCHS.  Evening Concert @ 7:00

Saturday, November 8, 2025 - ILMEA Honor Band, Choir, Orchestra Festival - auditions required

Tentative - Thursday, November 13, 2025 - 7th & 8th Grade Performance Music Field Trip to Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Permission slip required. $20 field trip fee.   

Friday,  December 5, 2025 - Performance Music Evening Field Trip to Elf the Musical, Downtown Chicago

Details/Cost coming soon.

Friday, February 6, 2026 - 6th and 7th grade band students will attend a field trip to NCHS to rehearse with high school directors and NCHS Wind Ensemble. Permission slip required. 8:30-11:30 a.m. 

Friday, February 13, 2026- MJHS Band Concert @ WENTZ CONCERT HALL - 5:30 p.m.  (student arrival 5:00)

     All 6th, 7th and 8th band students. 

Saturday, February 21, 2026 – District 203 Jr. High School Solo/Ensemble Day at Lincoln JHS

            8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  ALL Band & Orchestra Students will participate. Students will present a duet or trio. Students will receive a time slot sometime between 8-12. Students will need to be present at LJHS for 45 minutes (warm-up, tune, present duet, pack up).

Thursday, March 26, 2026 – MJHS Music Evening Music Night Out 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. 

String Fusion, Warhawk Pops, Jazz Lab & Jazz Ensemble perform 

Friday, March 27, 2026 – MJHS Music Department Tour to Feeder Elementary Schools 

            6th Grade Choir, Jazz Ensemble,  String Fusion Participate in school day field trip 

Mondays after Spring Break (April 6, 13, 20, 27, and May  4, 11, 18, 25) 6pm to 8pm – Optional - District 203 Junior High Marching Band Rehearsals at MJHS  

            This is a volunteer activity for those who wish to join our Junior High Marching Band and perform in the Memorial Day Parade.

Tuesday, April 28, 2026 – MJHS Band Festival  - 7:00 p.m. (student arrival 6:30 p.m.)

8th Grade Band performs with the 5th Grade Bands from Feeder Elementary Schools   

Wednesday, May 6, 2026 – MJHS Spring Band Concert  at Naperville Concert Band Shell in downtown Naperville – 6:30-8:00 p.m. (student arrival 6:10 p.m.)
