Students enrolled in performance music classes are making a commitment for the entire year. Each student brings a distinct contribution to their ensemble. Any changes in class personnel can significantly impact part assignments, balance within the ensemble, collaborative efforts, and available resources. Therefore, if parents wish to withdraw their child from a performance music class or add a new one, certain deadlines must be observed.
For any 6, 7, 8th grade student looking to drop, add, or change a performing music course, the deadline to complete the performing course change form is September 12th.
Students can obtain the add/drop/alter music form from the counselor’s office and/or their music teacher. The add/drop/alter form must be submitted to the counselor's office. Before submitting the form, students must obtain signatures from both a parent and the performing music teacher on the course change form.
