Completion of all program requirements in Napa County Teacher Induction Program provides an opportunity to earn units. These units potentially move you forward on your salary schedule, resulting in a higher range of compensation for your years of service as a teacher. There are two options for induction candidates and mentors listed below, mentors can only earn units in lieu of a mentor stipend as compensation. This policy is in accordance with contractual agreements and is non-negotiable through the induction office. You are not required to purchase or earn units for induction, and we encourage you to consult with your Human Resources department and union representative regarding questions about advancement on the salary schedule with your employer.
Candidates may purchase units for the successful completion of program requirements following each semester.

THE REGISTRATION LINKS WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL DURING EACH REGISTRATION WINDOW
It is your responsibility to register at that time and pay the appropriate fees. If you miss the registration window, we will not be able to re-open it for you.
Units are offered by University of the Pacific and can be purchased online at the close of each semester. Following each semester, candidates who have completed all requirements may purchase 2.0 units for a cost of $100.

Please note that if you register for the Fall, you must also register for Spring.
You may not split units.
