Dear Parents and Carers,
It has been another wonderful week at Nadeen, with so much happening across the school.
We welcomed our Primary families for Learner Conferences, providing an important opportunity for parents and teachers to come together, reflect on progress and celebrate the learning taking place so far this term. Thank you to everyone who joined us and for the thoughtful conversations with our teaching teams.
Our Year 10 families also had the opportunity to Meet the GCSE Team, connecting with tutors and teachers as our learners continue this important stage of their Secondary journey.
A huge thank you as well for all the love and appreciation shared with our teachers for World Teachers’ Day. The messages, kind words and thoughtful gestures meant so much to our team. It was so lovely to see our community celebrate them.
There has also been plenty of energy beyond the classroom, with another busy week of sport, fixtures and competitions. We are always so proud to see our learners representing Nadeen with enthusiasm, teamwork and wonderful sportsmanship, whether competing at home or further afield.
A special thank you to our Friends of Nadeen for organising and leading our Pre-Loved Uniform Sale. Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, we raised over BD200 for our school library. It is a lovely example of our community coming together in a way that is both sustainable and gives something directly back to our learners.
And finally beyond school, our Year 12 Economics learners attended Fintech Forward, giving them the opportunity to hear from industry leaders, explore developments in finance and technology, and connect their classroom learning with the world around them.
Weeks like this are a wonderful reminder of just how much happens across Nadeen each day — learning, sport, community, opportunities and experiences all coming together.
Thank you, as always, for being such an important part of it.
Warm regards,
Team Nadeen
