The Republic of South Africa consists of 29 ministries including the Presidency; together with the President and Deputy President they form the South African Cabinet. (www.parliament.gov.za, n.d.). Ministers assist in the implementation of legislation as they are guided by the Constitution, however they are not limited to just implementing but they can develop policy. (pmg.org.za, n.d.).

The Ministers are responsible for as they form part of the National Assembly which is elected with the purpose of representing the people and ensuring that the governance of the people is reflective and respected as under the Constitution entails. It does this in many ways such as Providing a national forum for public consideration of issues as well as passing legislation. (People's Assembly, n.d.).
The relationship of Bachelor in Community Development and the general purpose served by the Ministries together with Premiers is that they both work to serve the people of the country granted that one is a degree and the other is a high position of authority in the country, but both aim to understand thus properly address and cater to the needs of the people or citizens of the country. They do this through evaluation of existing policy, developing new policies as well as implementing already existing policy and new policy.
The relationship is of significance to the extent of there being a specific ministry to the degree -Department of Social Development. This showcases the extreme need of Local Development in our communities as many of the ministries cannot fully address the issues faced however the ministries still work together, nonetheless.
