While we are on break, we will not be checking emails. To help you out while we're gone, we put together a page on this site with helpful links and information for those FAQ's.
Please keep in mind that we experience a large volume of requests throughout the summer and into the Fall. We ask that you follow the protocols linked on the Summer 2025 page to help us differentiate requests and stay organized as we respond to your family.

To ensure your sport appears on your transcript and counts for credit, you must complete the Athletic Confirmation Form once you’ve been officially placed on your team’s roster. This form requires signatures from both your Coach and Athletic Director.
Please do not complete the form until your roster spot is confirmed.
Typically, these forms are turned into the Front Office after registration and into the first week or two of school. Please do not email the forms to us over summer. They must be turned in physically to the Front office.
Printed copies will also be available in the Front Office during registration & digital copies are available on the link below.

LMA curriculum follows an advanced math pathway. Our teachers have compiled 7th grade and 8th grade resources for you to review over the summer:
Access Here: 7th Grade Math: Resources & Prep
At Legacy Magnet Academy, all 7th grade students participate in an accelerated math program that covers the second half of 7th grade math and the full 8th grade curriculum.
To support success in this rigorous course, students should be confident with key concepts from 6th grade and the first half of 7th grade math. We encourage students to review foundational topics over the summer to build confidence and start the year prepared.
Access Here: 8th Grade Math: Resources & Prep
At Legacy Magnet Academy, students who complete our accelerated 6th and 7th grade math courses will enter Algebra 1 in 8th grade—meaning they’ve already covered all of 8th grade math by the end of 7th grade.
To ensure a strong start in Algebra 1, students should review and master key 8th grade math concepts over the summer. Strengthening these foundational skills will help them feel confident, prepared, and ready for success.
Hello Rising 10th Grade LMA Students,
Congratulations on completing your first year of high school! As you may know, LMA students take IVC Spanish 1 in the fall of their 10th grade year. For those of you who would like to get a head start, we encourage you to review Chapter 1 of Tu Mundo HERE.

We also invite you and your parent to attend the IVC Spanish Orientation on Thursday, August 14th, from 8:30–9:30am in the ampitheater.
Thank you for taking the initiative to prepare for this advanced course. We’re excited to welcome you back in the fall!
