Capitalizing on Lake Brantley's unique characteristics - non-stop, exciting campus community, outstanding arts and athletics programs, and first-rate facilities - the Academy of Creative Design and Entertainment gives students the skills, tools, and opportunities to pursue their passions in creating original content and designs.
The Lake Brantley Academy of Creative Design and Entertainment (LB-ACDE) offers five unique tracks:
Interior Design
3D Animation Technology
Digital Audio Production
Digital Photography
Digital Video Production
LB-ACDE is built around one-of-a-kind Capstone Experiences that launch students into the industry and give them a head start down their chosen college and career paths.
These courses introduce students to the technical and creative skills for Interior Design.
Level 1 introduces students to what Interior Design is and what it can accomplish. Students explore Interior Design as a career path, including other areas where Interior Design knowledge and experience could be applied, including marketing, real estate, film, and stagecraft. Students are expected to earn their Word Press Certified Editor certification and begin their digital professional portfolio.
Level 2 deepens students' understanding of the skills and technologies of the industry. They master Adobe Visual Design.
Level 3 develops students into pre-professional designers, creating their own designs for imagined spaced.
In Level 4, students will sharpen their skills by creating their own designs for imagined spaces, as well as pursue college credit at Seminole State College through a cumulative Capstone project.
For more information, check out Seminole State College's Career Pathways Page.
The LB-ACDE Digital Arts and Media Tracks offer students unique pathways to develop a passion for cutting edge technology and creative design while working towards pre-professional mastery of skills which will put them at a huge head start in the industry when they graduate from high school.
Within 3D Animation Technology, Digital Audio Production, Digital Photography Technology, and Digital Video Production, students expand their mastery at each level with increasing levels of independence and original creation.
This sequence of courses introduces students to the technical and creative skills for 3D Animation design.
