The Learning Maps are your road map. They are aligned to the Florida Social Studies Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) and include a pacing guide and vetted resources.
You will be able to access your learning maps in Schoology. Follow these steps:
Log in to Classlink
Select the Schoology icon
Once in Schoology, click on Groups. Select either the Middle School or High School Social Studies Group.
Click on the 'Resources' tab on the left of the screen.
Select the course you teach. Once in the course folder, click on the 'Resources' tab.
Click on the 'Scope & Sequence' folder. Within this folder you will find a scope and sequence PDF. The learning maps for all units are hyperlinked within this document!

Online text and resources are available to teachers via the McGraw Hill link located in ClassLink.
** NO code is required. **
You will only need to view the resources for the course(s) you will teach.
In addition to these introduction webinars, McGraw Hill has provided many tutorials to assist with instruction. You will find these in Moodle. I can also specific specif tutorials to you as your needs arise. Feel free to reach out!

Quarter 1 (Q1 content only)-1 day
Quarter 2 (cumulative assessment)-2 days
Quarter 3 (cumulative assessment and diagnostic questions/covers entire course)- 2 days
The testing window dates are announced each year by the Assessment and Accountability office. District leadership determines which schools are required to take the district progress monitoring assessments and which schools have the option to utilize these assessments. This information will be available from your administrative team.
