Reflection: At the beginning of this project I  was assigned to create a fantasy logo of my imaganery company. I first started with the idea of making a regular chocolate chip cookie logo, but I felt like it was too boring and simple. Then I tried changing my idea to honeycomb donuts. However, when I started designing it, it did not look good and the concept was not working the way I imagined it. This is in the process where I was stressing out which topic I should do.

Because of that, I decided to go back to my original topic which was cookies. Instead of keeping it plain, I combined the idea of honeycomb and cookies together. After that, I started to visualize what I wanted my logo to look like. I decided to use hexagon shapes because hexagons represent honeycomb made by bees. I used three hexagon shapes with different shades to create depth and make the design more interesting.

In the center of the hexagon, I placed a cookie with chocolate pieces and honey drops, and I added a bite mark to make it look more realistic. I also added a bee on top of the honeycomb to represent that the honey comes from real bees. Finally, I included the name of my imaginary company, Honeycomb Cookies Co., so that the logo clearly represents the brand.

I feel like the overall design could have been a little better, but I still think it turned out okay. For the outline style logo, I kept the same design but simplified it by using thinner lines and adding a small honey drip detail. For the SVG logo, I converted my shape logo using an SVG converter to create a vector-style version.

If I had to choose one logo to represent my fantasy company, I would choose the shape logo. I think it works the best because it is colorful and shows the yellow honey colors, which helps represent the honey theme of the cookie company
