Algebra 1

Welcome to Mrs. Hernandez's Algebra 1 class!

Algebra I is a 9th Grade Math Course. Since you are taking this class as a 7th or 8th grader, we treat Algebra I as an honors level course and have high expectations of everyone in this class. You must have a solid math foundation in order to be successful in Algebra I.

This is a very challenging and fast paced course. My goal is to prepare you for Geometry. You will be required to problem solve and reason mathematically.

I am here to help you learn but I can't do all of the work on my own, you also need to do your part. If you try your hardest and put in your best effort, you will be successful in my class.
