Ocean Ambassadors

Virtual Gumboots2.mp4

Here is a short video to teach us all about it!

We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful city like Vancouver where we are surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. The ocean is an important habitat for many plants and sea creatures.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the students at Wentworth were unable to visit Ocean Ambassadors at the beach this spring. Instead, Alison and her team have brought the beach to us. Sit back, watch and learn about the sea life living in Vancouver's intertidal zones.

Intertidal Zone Exploration Checklist.docx

Take your family to the beach. See how many of these sea creatures you can find - can you complete the checklist?

Let's all become ocean ambassadors!
