Who are you?

Hello! My name is Teacher Quennie. I come from the Philippines. Specifically, from the Queen City of the South, Cebu. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, Magna cum Laude, at Cebu Normal University. I completed my Master of Education in English as a Second Language at the University of the Philippines-Cebu with distinction. I taught for five years in a private Catholic school.

Currently, I am working as a foreign English teacher in Taiwan and am deeply committed to actively seeking and promoting quality education for my students. I hope that this website will be of help to all ESL/EFL teachers all over the world.

What's in here?

This website is meant to be a resource for ESL/EFL teachers. You can browse my teaching materials. In addition, you can also read my classroom experiences through my blogs. This is my way of giving back to the community which has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth.

Why the quirky quail?

The website’s mascot is a quail, a bird known for its adaptability, and resourcefulness, wearing a little crown. Interestingly, my first teaching experience outside my home country is in Taiwan. In this experience, I must exhibit adaptability and resourcefulness, while doing my best to impart knowledge to my students, much like the characteristics of the quail.
