Technology has the ability to transform classrooms and learning. Teachers can help make learning more relevant and engaging through the use of digital devices and software. In my experience Technology has enhanced my lessons and allowed me to individualized instruction. With technology, teachers can do more so much more than ever before!

I used this awesome app to creator 2 projects for this class. This is a great app for students to use as a summative or formative assessment tool. It also provides a way to differentiate learning through technology. My students created books using their informational essays on various topics.

I used SeeSaw as a digital portfolio app. My students love uploading their work and reflecting on their learning. They can share with parents and other classmates as well. I love the control I have over what gets posted. I feel less worried about my students' digital footprint.

I used Google Maps and Adobe Spark to create a virtual trip across California to learn about the 4 regions. This project integrated a real-world tool (Google Maps) that students will use again and again. I loved collaborating with my 6 year old son!
I created a hyperdoc for the novel, Esperanza Rising, by Pam Munoz Ryan. Hyperdocs helped me customize learning for my students and created a whole new way to facilitate my lessons.
