Reflection helps you connect theory to practice, celebrate progress, and plan your next steps.
On this page you’ll find information and links to support that can help you along the way and see how reflection is embedded throughout your apprenticeship.
Take a breath, grab a cuppa, and explore what your experiences are teaching you.
Reflection is basically about taking a step back and thinking deeply about what you know, what you’ve learned, and how your experiences have shaped you. It helps you spot your strengths, figure out what needs work, and grow from there.
In professional practice, especially in health and care, it’s a must.
And for apprentices, it’s a huge part of the journey. It helps you connect the dots between theory and real-life practice, track your progress, and build confidence as you grow into your role.

We all love our mobiles so lets use them to quickly reflect and capture our learning experiences. Have a look at the PebblePocket App which is free to download and links directly to your PebblePad account for those quick wins.
Use this to help you get into the weekly habit of noting your new learning, off-the-job hours and how these link to your progress reviews, evidence and KSB mapping.
It is important to understand what your learning style is to support your learning and development.
