AIIR covers the following six key themes, which are embedded in your curriculum and integrated into your Apprenticeship Progress Reviews:
The Training plan is a tripartite agreement between the University (training provider), the employer, and the apprentice. We all sign this document before the apprenticeship course starts to agree important commitments to standards of conduct and the pursuit of knowledge skills and behaviours (KSBs) required to achieve the End Point Assessment (EPA).
The Skills Scan survey is an important part of the onboarding process which helps understand your judgement of your starting position in relation to your knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSB's) as you prepare for the apprenticeship.
You will complete further skills scans at various intervals during the apprenticeship which will show the progression and development of your KSB's
Off-the-job training is a statutory requirement for an English apprenticeship. It is training which is received by the apprentice, during the apprentice’s normal working hours, for the purpose of achieving the knowledge, skills and behaviours of the approved apprenticeship referenced in the apprenticeship agreement.
Entries onto PebblePad can be tagged against the key skills and behaviours (KSB's) to which they correspond so you can quickly look up how much evidence you have logged for each KSB.
