WELFARE

WELFARE-

Your welfare and that of all the volunteers is very important and we ask that you look after yourself and each other at all times. If you feel ill, unsure or uncomfortable at any time please let Jane OR Eve know. We are all responsible for our own health and safety and ask you to look out for each other.

Facilities onsite include:

WHAT 3 WORDS-

What3Words is an app that we recommend you download prior to the festival, it codes each square meter of the whole world with 3 specific words. So if any of you get lost at the festival you can message your 3 words which will tell everyone where you are. This way hopefully we will be able to ensure we can find each other!

VALUABLES-

Don't bring valuables. They can get damaged, lost or stolen in festival environments. Don’t bring anything you can't afford to replace and don't want to lose. Don't leave valuables in your tent as they are impossible to secure. Sheffield Hallam University is not responsible or liable for any items that are lost or stolen.

Cash: All food and drink vendors will be cashless.

Please do not take more cash than is needed and keep your bank cards and cash separately. This way, if you lose either, you will still have the other as a backup.

Don’t carry anything in your back pockets and ensure you use zip pockets to carry your items around.

There are cash machines operating within the site, although these will charge for withdrawals. Please take necessary precautions when using these and report any suspected issues to a member of the festival staff.
