KIT LIST
WHAT TO WEAR
You are able to wear your own regular clothes when you are on shift, and you will be provided with a Hi-Vis vest to wear as uniform when you are working. We ask that you do not wear any items of clothing that could be deemed as offensive (any rude logos etc.) or inappropriate as you are representing the university when you are working. HATs should wear your Festival Republic SHU T-shirt whilst on shift.
WHAT TO TAKE/ PACKING LIST
You will need to be able to carry your belongings to the campsite from the car park it’s a bit of a trek. Festival shops don't open until the public begin to arrive on Thursday.
We suggest you take the following:
-Camping Equipment
Tent
Groundsheets, mallet, pegs, poles etc.
Sleeping bag
Pillow (and any extra blankets you think you'll need.)
Camping bed/ roll mat/ air bed (and pump)
Torch
Camping chair
-Personal Items
Toothbrush/ toothpaste (any other toiletries – small dry shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
Underwear
Swimsuit and plastic shoes/sliders for the showers.
Mobile phone & charger, power bank
Towel
Lateral Flow kit (One a day)
Any medication you use regularly/ find important including: prescription, medication painkillers, anti-allergy tablets
Cash / cards you need (please don't take more than needed) Food and drink traders are all cashless
ID Documents - SHU Card

Wet wipes and Toilet roll/Tissue
Food & Drink - (picnic food/cereal bars/ pot noodles etc.)
Water bottle - it is important to keep hydrated when working, especially in the weather predicted so use the water points around the site to refill your bottle.
Crockery/ cutlery (Cup, Mug, Knives, Forks, Spoons, Plate, Bowl- plastic or paper, no glass)
Bin bags or plastic bags
Raincoat
Wellies
Sensible shoes for working on site (open shoes are not allowed when working)
Seasonal appropriate clothes (Be prepared for all types of weather- Take layers so you can change for each weather condition.)
Sun-cream, after sun, sunglasses and a hat
Mosquito repellent
