RIGHT TO WORK CHECKS

As part of your volunteer agreement you ticked to say that you are able to provide the original documentation as evidence of your legal right to work. We will need to verify that information before you volunteer in August 2024.

 

The Campus Jobs team will be supporting the collection and storage of this to share with Festival Republic. Please read the important information below on what you will need to provide to the team and the times you are able to present your documentation.

 

For holders of UK/Irish passports please provide your original passport (scanned or photocopies are not acceptable). You will need to come to Careers Connect with your passport for verification, during one of our Right to Work check sessions listed below.

If you do not have a passport, please contact campusjobs@shu.ac.uk as soon as possible for alternative acceptable documentation.

 

If you have a non UK/Irish passport you will need to prove your right to work using a Share Code. Please send your code to campusjobs@shu.ac.uk and come in to Careers Connect for verification, during one of Right to Work check sessions listed below.

 

The Careers Connect building is next to the Owen Building, please advise staff on the desk that the check is for Leeds Festival Volunteers. Please only visit during one of the timed slots listed below, please note whilst the building is open outside of these times, the Campus Jobs team are only there at these times and the only staff permitted to conduct your right to work check.

 

Right to Work Check Session:-

 

Tuesday - 10am - 2.30pm

Wednesday - 12pm - 3pm 

Thursday - 10am -2.30pm

 

Please note that these checks need to be completed no later than Monday 19th August to allow you to volunteer from 21st August 2024.
