Stress is a natural human response to pressure when faced with challenging and sometimes dangerous situations. But stress becomes unhelpful when it leaves us feeling fatigued, tense, anxious, burnt out or overwhelmed.
Stress is unhelpful when:
You cannot switch off
Can't cope
Withdraw from friendships, family or school work
Struggle with concentration or motivation
Find it difficult to sleep or have a lack of appetite
